This is completely innocent as he's just curious, but it could easily be taken the wrong way.
Goku isn't a pervy character, but he's just learning about the differences in male and female anatomy and sometimes touches girls to verify that they're girls. Going back to Roshi, though, Roshi might make it a bit more questionable, he gets aroused by exercise videos, reads porno magazines (they're never shown in detail, but not much is left to imagination) and keeps trying to grope a few female characters, sometimes fantasizing it with a little detail. Oolong isn't much of a problem by comparison to Roshi, but he does contribute plenty to the sexual humor of the show nonetheless. Both are pretty pervy, even though it's mostly for comic relief. I'll address an elephant in the room (people who watched the show will understand what I say, others might not), but Oolong and Master Roshi. That's not to say it's for all age groups though.įor a while, I thought it was for kids and considered showing it to my 9 year old sister, but as I watched more, I decided against that. It's also got plenty of great characters who are unique and fun in their own way. It probably hasn't aged quite as well as the better known Dragon Ball Z, but it should still prove fun and enjoyable to fans of anime. Sure, I still like some shows better, but this one still holds up nicely.
For a while, I didn't see the point of this show, but that all changed when I started watching the first series.
